The Company
A multi-utility contractor who operates all over the UK with most of the work coming in London and the home counties. With over 30 years expertise in the field of Utilities, this contractor has garnered themselves a good reputation amongst clients and other contractors. Capable of sub-contracting and running projects alone, this is a company at the forefront of the sector, and they have been for the past 15 years.

With works completed and scheduled on HS2 and with other projects not halting through the pandemic, they have been able to acquire a 3-acre site for general operations which includes a brand-new office that can house up to 90 staff. The need has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to work in these offices.

The Role
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take a leading role in a recently won contract. The contract in question is valued at £13 Million and will see this contractor, with you as part of it’s team, oversee the Substation Upgrade to deliver the overheads to the new 3.3km tunnel being built near the historical Stonehenge for Highways England.
Someone with power experience is essential to be able to come in and almost hit the ground running with this one. You would be a senior part of a team that is there to deliver this project and your expertise in the sector would be invaluable. The project will be delivered under the NEC contract type.

Requirements
– Degree or HNC in Commercial Management, Quantity Surveying, or other relevant discipline.
– NEC contract experience
– Experience in the Power sector would be invaluable.
– At least 2 years at Senior Quantity Surveyor level
