QUANTITY SURVEYOR OPPORTUNITY
THE CHANCE TO WORK IN BRAND NEW OFFICES!!!

The Company
A multi-utility contractor who operates all over the UK with most of the work coming in London and the home counties. With over 30 years of expertise in the field of Utilities, this contractor has garnered a good reputation amongst clients and other contractors. Capable of sub-contracting and running projects alone, this is a company at the forefront of the sector, and they have been for the past 15 years.

With works completed and scheduled on HS2 and with other projects not halting through the pandemic, they have been able to acquire a 3-acre site for general operations which includes a brand-new office that can house up to 90 staff. The need has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to work in these offices.

The Role
As Quantity Surveyor, you would come into the new offices with a team of people who are already committed to this newly acquired project to manage a portion of the budget. This Network Build project is for a key client of theirs to the tune of over £50 Million. You would find yourself based in the new Reading offices with the occasional site visit as allowed through government restrictions.
As Quantity Surveyor, you would be taking on a portion of this Network Build Contract to ensure that the works are produced on budget and on time.

Requirements
– Relevant Degree or HNC in Commercial Management/ Quantity Surveying
– Experience in the Telecoms Sector/ with BT Network Builds
– At least 2 years at Quantity Surveyor level
– Capable of running a portion of a project.
– Can work under time-critical deadlines.
