Job Description

The Company
A multi-utility contractor who operates all over the UK with most of the work coming in London and the home counties. With over 30 years of expertise in the field of Utilities, this contractor has garnered a good reputation amongst clients and other contractors. Capable of sub-contracting and running projects alone, this is a company at the forefront of the sector, and they have been for the past 15 years.

With works completed and scheduled on HS2 and with other projects not halting through the pandemic, they have been able to acquire a 3-acre site for general operations which includes a brand-new office that can house up to 90 staff. The need has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to work in these offices.

The Role
This Quantity Surveyor is needed to come in and manage a portion of new contract where works are to take place on 33kv connections. These connections are to be taking place within the M4 corridor as the contract states. As Quantity Surveyor, you will be expected to produce your work on a portfolio of High Value, Low Volume contracts.
If you come from a civils background and have done the High Volume, Low-Value type of works before, this is an environment you would thrive in. Someone who can pay attention to detail as it is sometimes lost in this type of work is essential. Could you be that Quantity Surveyor?

– Degree or HNC educated in a relevant discipline (Commercial Management/ Quantity Surveying)
– High Volume, Low Value experience in the civils sector
– More than 2 years’ experience at the Quantity Surveyor Level
– NEC Contract type experience
– Contract Dispute Resolution experience would be beneficial.

If you think you would perform in this role, please do get in touch with Ryan at with an updated CV or by applying to this advert
