Since starting ‘Cooking Up a Storm’, I have personally seen the benefit of listening to other people’s success stories has had on me. I have always been someone that learns from the example of others and then in turn try things out for myself and see where I can get to. Hopefully the episodes of the ‘Industry Series’ so far have been beneficial to those in construction, civil engineering and utilities. As for the ‘Inspirational Series’ this has been a personal interest of mine as it has allowed me to speak with people I’ve known for ages in a deeper fashion so as I can get to know their levels of motivation, and it has been truly inspiring.

Episode 1 (Industry Series) – Dannie Shipkova | Cooking Up a Storm
Dannie is a lovely lady with an interesting back story. Dannie is a Quantity Surveyor however she came through the ranks by experience rather than qualification. She has a real motivation to progress and you can tell she is great to work with. Dannie runs through how she got to where she is today as well as how she has been finding working from home in these testing times.

Episode 1 (Inspirational Series) – Victor Odeyemi | Cooking Up a Storm
Victor is someone that I’ve known since we were in Year 1. He’s currently a coach/scout at Chelsea FC at youth level and has ambitions of reaching the top of the game. Victor has a true passion for football and he touches on lessons that can be transferred to any field of life as he’s had to go through London, Nigeria and Manchester to get to where he is today.
